I wasn't terribly interested in it, but I happened to be on the 10th floor (I think) of the Captain Cook hotel, attending a rather obscure session at a conference. I was as impressed with the view as I was with the session, which was full of people I had never seen at previous conferences, and which took place in a part of the hotel I hadn't had cause to enter in the days before or after!
