It was primarily designed for the joint use of the bank whose name it bears and the C. & O. Ry. Co. and the R. F. & P. Ry. Co., and is one of the highest and most modern structures of its kind in the South. Its towering tiers of floors have been arranged into a symmetrical and well proportioned mass by means of four elevations.
