The lodge was on the west side of the Upper Mazinaw Lake where North Mazinaw Road joins Highawy 41. The Lodge was only standing for a couple of years and was destroyed by fire This interesting photo is part of the CDHS Archives, unknown date. The top of the photo states: 'Destroyed by Fire' but the date is illegible. The bottom of the photo states 'Hermitage Club', but this reference is lost to antiquity.
