Not only are local athletes portrayed but also an interesting part of our history relating to the Ore Chimney Mine on the Harlowe Road. Fred Lewis of the Cavalier Mining Company was a mine promoter. Hockey sweaters with the Ore Chimney Mine design were ordered from Winnipeg to promote the local mine. This hockey team played in Tamworth.
