To our abject horror we discovered that they've pulled their utterly sublime banana split from the menu. This forced us to expand our horizons, and it wasn't hard to choose this minty gem! Mint and chocolate ice cream with crushed marianne and a shot of dumle sauce* made for an absolute delight, especially when it was so hot in town today. The green sweet biscuit was an unusual touch, but it went down a treat as well. *notes: marianne is a peppermint boiled sweet with a chocolate centre, and dumle is a sweet a bit like a rolo with slightly firmer toffee.
