I was dropping off our Finnish visitors at Lime Street Station as they were flying from Manchester and had bought train tickets (which I love - the Manchester drive sucks pretty hard). On the way into town I noticed a couple of planes blowing smoke and my curiosity was certainly piqued! It seems that there was some kind of powerboat thing going on at the river, and as part of the associated festivities someone had booked Team Yakovlevs!
