The old one (aged 3 and a bit) was getting a bit rusty in places we didn't want it to rust, so the time came for a replacement. We opened up the box for this one and noted all the sensible design improvements over the old kettle, specifically to overcome some of the problems we encountered. Only when we patted Morphy Richards on the back did we realise that the replacement kettle is in fact a different brand - Russell Hobbs!
