It was only a little one, down to Calderstones Park and back to take the leaf shredder to my old man at the Railway Club. That was fun strapped to the bike ;) Because it was a spontaneous trip (he'd forgotten it for the third week on the run) I committed a grave sin and did my first ride of the season without washing the bike first...hence my filthy habit ;) Trivia fans - it's a Honda CG125. I got one when I first started to ride. Then I graduated to a 250 Superdream, then when my licence went full power after two years I moved up to Suzuki GS500e which is a much bigger, faster bike. Then I remembered that all my happy biking memories were associated with the CG, so I picked up another one for a song and the poor old GS (lovely bike though it is) hasn't turned a wheel in about 18 months.
