The number of juveniles being fed started at three but at times there were as many as eight. This is the same tree as where I saw my very first juvenile Swallows being fed last year and is by Lock 65 on the Trent & Mersey Canal. It's near to the Lock Keeper's Cottage at the end of Cotton Lane in Wheelock.. I saw some juveniles earlier in the year, on the far side of Hassall Green, so this could be a second brood for these summer visitors. @Birds_UK @BirdWatchingMag @BritBirdLovers I spent a couple of hours watching a Swallow crèche in the afternoon.
