Rosa banksiae, commonly called Banksian rose, is a climbing rose. It may be trained to an arbor, fence or wall where it will climb and cover. Double white flowers with densely packed petals bloom in clusters in May-June with no repeat bloom. Flowers are mildly scented. Long flexible, almost thornless stems are clad with green leaves.
Croton plants that grow well in the yard have green leaves with yellow on the edges of the plant which are slightly curly but the leaves are very dense when they are large and numerous and can be used as garden decoration for fences.

Osmanthus fragrans, native to Asia (Japan, China and Himalayas), and commonly called fragrant olive, sweet olive or sweet tea, produces clusters of flowers that have an extremely powerful apricot fragrance. It is a small, upright, evergreen tree that will grow to 3-10 meters tall. Tiny white, orange, gold or reddish flowers, depending on species, appear in clusters in late summer through into fall. The plant has very fragrant flower.
