Zurich, Switzerland: clock of the Fraumunster church - The Fraumünster is one of the four Reformed Old Town churches and one of the city's landmarks. The former Fraumünster monastery was a Benedictine monastery with the rank of a princely abbey, founded in 853 by King Louis the German. Freising, Bavaria, Germany: Vinzentinum clock tower with onion dome and cross, Altötting Chapel (1669), branch church of the parish church of St. George - baroque building on the south side of the Domberg / Cathedral Hill, on Brunnhausgasse. Usually made of copper sheet, onion domes appear on Catholic churches all over southern Germany, Czechia and Austria. Onion domes are popularly believed to symbolize burning candles.

The collegiate church, located in downtown Stuttgart, is the main church of the Evangelical Church in Württemberg and the parish church of the collegiate church within the church district of Stuttgart. As an inner city church, it continues to take on tasks that go beyond its parish. The lower part of the south tower is the only remaining structural evidence of the Staufer era in Stuttgart.
