Taplow and Maidenhead, England - July 21, 2019: the new footbridge across the River Thames linking Ray Mill Island (seen in the foreground) in Maidenhead, Berkshire, with Taplow (seen in the distance) in Buckinghamshire, was opened on 2 November 2018 by the then Prime Minister (and local MP) the Rt Hon Theresa May. The bridge was constructed by Berkeley Homes and designed by Martin Knight of Knights Architecture; its elegantly arched design is reported to reflect the nearby Maidenhead Railway Bridge built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel in 1838-9.

The historic charm of this ancient city with its well-preserved medieval architecture, narrow cobblestone streets, river, city walls and the iconic York Minster. The scene captures the essence of this quintessentially English city, rich in history and steeped in culture.
