The temple of Antoninus and Faustina in the park of Villa Borghese, in the green heart of Rome near the Pincio Gardens. This temple, made up of fragments of temples from the ancient Roman Forums, was built in 1792 for the Borghese family by the architect Cristoforo Unterperger. Considered the green lung of Rome, Villa Borghese is the largest public park in the city with almost 80 hectares of extension, where residents and tourists can spend hours of relaxation and silence among tree-lined avenues, ponds and Italian and English-style gardens surrounded by trees and ancient pines. The area of the Villa Borghese includes the extension of ancient gardens the of the Borghese family since 1580, while the current arrangement of the park was completed in 1903 in neoclassical style. In 1980 the historic center of Rome was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Super wide angle image in high definition format.
