This bronze Kusunoki Masashige Statue is in the city park,  outside of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo Japan. The statue was commissioned by the Japanese government around 1880 and took workers 2 years to build. Kusunoki was an ancient Japanese hero that became the patron saint of Kamikaze pilots during WWII.
