The Chatham, Massachusetts railroad station (1887) in its hayday was the start and finish point for thousands of Cape Cod vacations.  The building is now a railroad museum. The architectural style is known as Railroad Gothic. The caboose, built in 1917, has travelled over 1 million miles.

Mankato, Minnesota, USA - November 19, 2023: View of the Mankato Union Depot, a historic passenger railway station built in 1896 by the Chicago and North Western Railway. The architect and builder was J. B. Nelson & Co. The building no longer serves as a passenger station, instead housing local shops and businesses. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Restored Reed gas station at Reed-Niland Corner, Colo, Iowa, USA. The station sits at the interesction of the Lincoln (HIghway 30) and Jefferson (Highway 65) Highways. This was a major intersection of cross country North/South and East/West highways before the interstate highway system was built.

The ex-Frisco railroad locomotive no. 4500 was built in Philadelphia, Pa. in November, 1942 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. It was assigned to pull the passenger train “METEOR” from c, Mo. thru Tulsa to Oklahoma City and back on a daily basis.
