Liatris spicata, commonly called Blazing star, Dense blazing star or Gay feather, is a tall, upright, clump-forming perennial. It features terminal spikes of rounded, fluffy, deep purple or white flower heads appearing atop rigid, erect, leafy flower stalks. $De dwergzegge (Carex oederi subsp. oederi, synoniemen: Carex serotina, Carex viridula subsp. viridula, Carex scandinavica) is een overblijvend kruid dat behoort tot de cypergrassenfamilie (Cyperaceae) en wordt vaak verward met de geelgroene zegge.
