The roofs of several of the Ajanta Caves have highly ornate frescoes and murals which have many abstract patterns interspersed with flowers and birds. The paintings in the Ajanta caves predominantly narrate the Jataka tales. These are Buddhist legends describing the previous births of the Buddha. These paintings are now 200 years old and stand  testament to the highly evolved sense of art and creativity of ancient India.

Beijing.The Long Corridor at the Summer Palace is a covered walkway of 728 m full of thousands of beautiful paintings depicting scenes from Chinese history. The reason for constructing was that the emperor's mother should enjoy a walk protected from the elements.Walking through the corridor is an amazing and also dizzy making experience, because of endless looking up, right, left and taking pictures.But in the end absolutely mesmerizing.
The Lycean Tombs date back to BC and have lasted for over 2800 years.\nIt is said the Tombs were made as high as possible for kings and people of importance, who expected to be close to God.\nThey were never finished due to the invasion of Alexander the Great.
