Haara is an in-built or portable hearth used particularly for boiling milk. This haara was built in the courtyard adjoining the wall of the stairs. A small chulha (hearth) was built on its side to appear as one object. The haara along with a chulha next to it were used in the preparation of feed for the cattle.
