Cornus kousa, commonly called Japanese dogwood, Kousa, and Kousa dogwood, is native to East Asia and is a small, deciduous flowering tree, with bloom occurring from late spring to early summer (May-June). Kousa dogwood “flowers” are four petal-like white bracts which surround the center cluster of yellowish-green, true flowers. Flowers are followed by berry-like fruits which mature to a pinkish red in summer.

Pyracantha is a genus of thorny evergreen large shrubs in the family Rosaceae, with common names Firethorn or Pyracantha. They are native to an area extending from Southeast Europe east to Southeast Asia, resemble and are related to Cotoneaster, but have serrated leaf margins and numerous thorns (Cotoneaster is thornless).\nPyracanthas are valuable ornamental plants, grown in gardens for their decorative flowers and fruit, often very densely borne. Their dense thorny structure makes them particularly valued in situations where an impenetrable barrier is required. Pyracantha berries are not poisonous as commonly thought; although they are very bitter, they are edible when cooked and are sometimes made into jelly.[2] In the UK and Ireland Pyracantha and the related genus Cotoneaster are valuable sources of nectar when often the bees have little other forage during the June Gap.\nThe plants reach up to six metres tall. The seven species have white flowers and either red, orange, or yellow berries. The flowers are produced during late spring and early summer; the pomes develop from late summer, and mature in late autumn (source Wikipedia).

The altitude is about 1,300-2,000 meters. Its main peak, Shennongjia, is located in the Shennongjia Forest District, Hubei Province, with an altitude of 3,053 meters.  In a broad sense, the Daba Mountains include the mountainous areas at the junction of Sichuan Province, Chongqing City, Shaanxi Province, Gansu Province and Hubei Province, separating the Sichuan Basin and the Hanzhong Basin.

Kerria japonica, commonly called Japanese kerria or Japanese rose, is a graceful, spring-flowering, deciduous shrub that is native to certain mountainous areas of Japan and China.
