Jade plant (Crassula ovate), also known as lucky plant, money plant or money tree, is an evergreen, succulent plant with thick branches, small pink or white flowers and is native to South Africa, and Mozambique. It is common houseplant. Much of its popularity stems from the low levels of care needed; the jade plant requires little water and can survive in most indoor conditions. Leaves are thick, shiny, smooth and rich jade green, although some may appear to be more of a yellow-green. Flowers are small white or pink with star-like shape.
