Straggly, greyish dwarf shrub, 20-70cm; young twigs hairy. Leaves linear-lanceolate, in whorls of 4, hairy at least when young. Flowers pale pink, 6-9mm long; globular, in compact terminal clusters; anthers not protruding. Fruit downy.
