Grevillea banksii, also known as Red silky oak, is evergreen shrub / tree, which is native to Queensland, Australia, and belongs to the Proteaceae family. The clusters of dark red flowers appear sporadically all year with bloom heaviest from late spring to early summer.

Several tiny flowers of the climbing Chilean Nasturtium vine (Tropaeolum tricolor), each about 2 cm long, showing through the branches of a supporting woody shrub. This species is a climbing plant, needing a shrub for support, and is unusual in being a winter flowering species, in Chile flowering from August to October,  and is a favourite nectar-source for the local hummingbirds which then pollinate the many flowers.
