Eryops was an semi-aquatic ambush predator much like the modern crocodile and lived in Texas, New Mexico and the Eastern USA in the Permian Period.
A Atelopus seminiferus nominal toad couple is seen mating on a moss log.  This endangered toad (IUCN 3.1) can only be found in the Amazon Rainforest of Peru.  This small toad is dark black on top and bright red in the belly.  In this photo you can see a small male and larger female adult toad.  The toads appear to be muscular.
