The Cifte Minare Medrese (Double minaret Koran school) has been built in 1271. In its back a recent restoration shows the original ground plan, but it still is mainly important for its wonderful Seljuk façade.Sifaiye medrese is from 1217, inside is the tomb of Sultan Izzettin with fine caligraphic writing in tiles technique. The courtyard houses several teahouses, surrounded by many shops. The whole complex faces the Cifte Minaret medrese.

The Apakh Hoja Mazar (the Fragrant Concubine Tomb) is in Aizrete Village, it is 5 km far away from Kashgar. It was built in 1640, The Apakh Hoja Mazar is an Islamic Hoja (sages’ descendents) mausoleum with the biggest scale and great influence in the territory of Xinjiang. The legend goes that fragrant concubine of the emperor Qianlong during the Qing Dynasty was buried here, thus the structure is also called Fragrant Concubine’s Tomb.
