Forest Park which opened in 1876, is a public park in western St. Louis, Missouri. The park covers 1,324 acres making it the largest city park in the United States. For comparison, New York City's Central park is 843 acres. Forest Park includes walking trails, fishing lakes, an art museum, zoo and a public golf course. This view of the Grand Basin was designed for The World's Fair in 1904 and was restored in 2003.

It is located in the Marais district, and it straddles the dividing-line between the 3rd and 4th arrondissements of Paris. It was built by Henri IV from 1605 to 1612 on the site of the Hôtel des Tournelles and its gardens.
