The beautiful frescoes with a false perspective inside the Chiesa della Santissima Annunziata, in the historic and medieval heart of Siena, in Tuscany. Built in 1257 as part of the ancient Spedale di Santa Maria della Scala, the church was remodeled in successive stages during the 15th century. In the photo, the apse with frescoes by Sebastiano Conca painted in 1731 and the High Altar with the bronze statue of the Risen Christ, a masterpiece from 1476 by the artist Lorenzo di Pietro. Siena is one of the most beautiful Italian cities of art, in the heart of the Tuscan hills, famous for its immense artistic and historical heritage and for the Palio, where the seventeen historical districts of the city compete every year in Piazza del Campo in one of the oldest horse racing in the world. The splendid frescoes inside the church of Sant'Ignazio di Loyola in the Baroque heart of Rome with the false perspective of the dome and apse. Built in 1626 as the main church in Rome of the powerful order of the Society of Jesus, known as the Jesuits, this church represents a masterpiece of Baroque art. The painter Andrea Pozzo created a series of frescoes inside the church which simulate the lack of a roof along the main nave and the presence of a dome on the transept, elements which in reality do not exist.
