Eagle grass (also known as eagle or eagle sedge), often grows naturally in the Mekong Delta. Grass has hard, tubular lower stem about 8-10 mm, lying horizontally in the mud. The stem is upright about 1 - 1.5 m high and has brown flowers at the apex. Eagle grass is quite easy to grow because of the characteristics of this herb, it is resistant to alum and requires little care or influence of pests, so it is quite popular. Only need to plant for about half a year, it can be harvested and especially after cutting, the tree will grow back many times without needing to plant a new one. In the harvest season, the grass is loaded on the boat, viewed from above, the grass boat creates a beautiful picture in the Dong Thap Muoi region.
