The streets on both sides of the river as well as bridges over the river are fully packed with a huge number of people, who turn out to enjoy the cherry blossom during the season (from late March to early April).\nThe species of the cherry tree here is Somei-Yoshino, the most popular one in Japan. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, all visitors are asked to wear protective face mask.$
