Back lane between Colne Lane and Basil Street, Colne, Lancashire.  With the Industrial Revolution, cotton manufacturing became the main industry in the town and by 1891 there were 30 cotton mills listed in Colne.  This late 19th century terrace housed many of the millworkers.
