Southern state wetland on an partly cloudy morning in summer (July). The image was captured in Cumming, Forsyth, Georgia (USA) with a full frame mirrorless digital camera and a long, sharp telephoto lens. The image is part of a large series of Georgia wetland shot at 200-500 mm and maximum aperture f/5.6 creating a very shallow depth of field resulting in defocused space suitable  for copy/text.
Laurus nobilis is an aromatic evergreen tree or large shrub with green, glabrous (smooth) leaves. It is in the flowering plant family Lauraceae.
