New Guinea Impatiens
A well focussed close-up of Himalayan balsam flowers. This good looking plant is one of the most invasive introductions that we have in the UK and seems to be able to thrive anywhere that its seeds land. These pods in the photo will burst very soon and will spread seeds up to about 2 meters from the plant.
