The Sambisari temple is one of the most beautiful Hindu temples in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This temple is unique and special because it is located about 6,5 m under the ground, so it won’t be easy to see from a distance. Sambisari is Shiva Hindu’s temple, and was supposedly built at the beginning of the 9th century in the Rakai Garung era, the King of Hindu’s Mataram from Wangsa Syailendra.
