The small church of the ancient hermitage of Santo Marzio (Saint Martius), among the wooded mountains of Gualdo Tadino, a medieval village between Spoleto and Gubbio in the Italian region of Umbria. This hermitage was built around 1219 by the first Franciscan monks who arrived in these mountains, becoming a place of penance and prayer. According to official sources, this hermitage was visited by St. Francis of Assisi in 1224. The Umbria region, considered the green lung of Italy for its wooded mountains, is characterized by a perfect integration between nature and the presence of man, in a context of environmental sustainability and healthy life. In addition to its immense artistic and historical heritage, Umbria is famous for its food and wine production and for the quality of the olive oil produced in these lands. The Charterhouse of Trisulti is a monastery located in the municipality of Collepardo, in the province of Frosinone.  It is recognized as a national monument by ministerial decree of 17 July 1879. Since December 2014, its management has been handled by the Polo Museale del Lazio. It is located among oak woods, in the so-called Selva d'Ecio, at the foot of Mount Rotonaria (Ernici Mountains), at 825 m altitude and 6 km north-east of the inhabited center.
