Pod 3-5mm, hairless, greyish brown when ripe.\nHabitat: Open places, especially on arable land and fields, in waste places and alongroadsides, a fairly frequent weed or ruderal, to 1850m.\nFlowering Season: July-September.\nDistribution: Widespread through Europe, more local or rare in Holland and Scandinavia; naturalized in Britain and Belgium.

Orthosiphon aristatus, commonly called Cat’s whiskers, is a plant in Lamiaceae family, native to tropical area of Asia. It is upright trunked, used as a traditional medicinal plant. The plant owes its name (Cat’s whiskers) to its four long white to pale purple stamens, which stick out, looking like a cat’s whiskers.

Alstroemeria flower blooming against black background .\nAlstroemeria, commonly called the Peruvian lily or lily of the Incas, is a genus of flowering plants in the family Alstroemeriaceae. They are all native to South America although some have become naturalized in the United States, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Madeira and the Canary Islands. Almost all of the species are restricted to one of two distinct centers of diversity, one in central Chile, the other in eastern Brazil. Species of Alstroemeria from Chile are winter-growing plants while those of Brazil are summer-growing.\nAlstroemeria, allgemein als peruanische Lilie oder Lilie der Inkas bezeichnet, ist eine Gattung von Blütenpflanzen in der Familie der Alstroemeriaceae. Sie sind alle in Südamerika beheimatet, obwohl einige in den USA, Mexiko, Australien, Neuseeland, Madeira und den Kanarischen Inseln eingebürgert wurden. Fast alle Arten sind auf eines von zwei unterschiedlichen Diversitätszentren beschränkt, eines in Zentralchile und das andere in Ostbrasilien. Alstroemeria-Arten aus Chile sind im Winter wachsende Pflanzen, während die aus Brasilien im Sommer wachsen.

Mount Evans, Clear Creek County, Colorado, USA: Upper and Lower Chicago Lakes from the overlook trail and Idaho Springs Reservoir in the distance - tarn (or corrie loch), proglacial mountain lake, formed in a cirque excavated by a glacier - Mount Evans is the highest and most famous mountain in the Front Range, a mountain range of the Rocky Mountains. At 4,350 meters (14,264 feet) in height, it is one of the 54 so-called 'Fourteeners' in Colorado, i.e. the peaks over 14,000 feet in height. Of these, it is the closest to Denver.
