Seongsan Ilchulbong, which means ‘Sunrise Peak of Mountain Castle’, is an archetypal tuff cone formed by hydrovolcanic eruptions upon a shallow seabed about 5 thousand years ago. Summer landscapes of Seongsan Ilchulbong are common, but winter landscapes are rare.

Knowth, Newgrange / Crewbane, County Meath, Ireland: Knowth burial mound (in Irish Cnobha), the site of a Neolithic passage tomb in the Boyne Valley. There is some evidence that activity continued at the Knowth site into the late Neolithic and Bronze Age. The site belongs to the tomb complex of Brú na Bóinne. It lies approximately 1 km northwest of Newgrange, and 2 km west of Dowth. UNESCO world heritage site.
