$Field characters: 66-84mm, abdomen: 50-61mm, Hw: 45-52mm.\nBlue Emperor is presently a common species, which is only absent from parts of the northern provinces of Groningen and Friesland. It is found at most larger bodies of standing water. Compared to the pre-1990 period, the species has increased strongly. So is with other dragonflies, Blue Emperor has benefit of the gradual warming in the last decades.\n\nThe largest Aeshnid in most of our area and common Species in the Netherlands..$

$Leptura quadrifasciata, the spotted longhorn beetle, is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Carl Linnaeus in his landmark 1758 10th edition of Systema Naturae. \nAdult beetles are 11–20 mm long, black with four more or less continuous transverse yellow bands. In extreme cases the elytra may be almost entirely black. It is found throughout the Northern and Central Palaearctic region. \nLarvae make meandering galleries in various trees, including oak, beech, birch, willow, alder, elder and spruce.
