Beautiful perennial flower garden
(Lilium columbianum) Tiger Lily is also known as Turk's Cap, Oregon Lily and Columbia Lily. The bright orange to yellow flowers on this plant make it an easy wildflower to find. The leaves appear in whorls on the bottom 2/3 's of the plant, with a few random leaves above. The purple spotted petals curve backwards on the flower. It can have 4-10 flowers per stem and grow between 3- 5 feet in height. Some native tribes in Washington steamed the bulbs of this plant for food.
