The eastern pygmy marmoset is the smallest monkey in the world, weighing only about 4 ounces. It is native to the rainforests of South America. Eastern pygmy marmosets are social animals and live in groups of up to 15 individuals. They are also known for their monogamous relationships and cooperative parenting.
