Crest for the hilltop village of Ramatuelle, in the Var region of the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur in the peninsula of St Tropez facing out on to the Bay of Pampelonne in the Mediterranean Sea. This village crest carries a representation of the superb elm tree that once grew in the village square, Place de L'Ormeau and was originally planted by the Duke of Sully, Maximilien de Béthune (1560 - 1641).
