This Grade I-listed triumphal arch was designed by Decimus Burton. It stands between Green Park and Hyde Park on Hyde Park Corner. It was built between 1816-1830, although it has been moved from its original location. It was built to commemorate Britain;s victory against Napoleon in the Napoleonic Wars. People can be seen in the background.

Lazise, Italy - May 26th, 2021: Public park and the medieval surrounding wall of the Medieval Scaligero Castle (IX-XIV century), small village of Lazise, tourist resort on the coast of Lake Garda (Lago di Garda). Verona province, Veneto, Italy, southern Europe. The castle in the IX century, was built to defend itself from the invasions of the Hungarians. The small town of Lazise is surrounded by a fortified wall.
Cars and buses streak past the road near the North Gate. Car number plates are visible, as are the logos and designs on the side of the bus. On the far left is a bronze monument to King George IV is outside the North Gate of the Royal Pavilion. Erected in 1828 and funded by the public it's a replica of a marble figure of George IV by the English sculptor Sir Francis Chantrey (1781-1841) in the Waterloo Chamber at Windsor Castle. On the street in the far distance are incidental people and beyond the traffic is the Victoria Gardens.
