Modelled after the Shrine of Lourdes in France, it was built with 2X4 wood pieces firmly nailed together and draped with burlap dipped in a concrete slurry. A statue of the Virgin Mary sat in the opening near the top. The bottom opening contained a small alter and candle racks with kneeler benches outside.
