They are docked at Garden Island, Sydney Harbour, in preparation for an open day to the public during Navy Week, the first open day since the Covid pandemic. TCG Anadolu, built in Sedef Shipyard in Istanbul, is 230 meters (754 feet) in length and 32 m (105 ft) in width, and has an area of 9,200 square meters (99,028 sq-ft).\n\nSix helicopters can land or take off simultaneously, while uncrewed combat aerial vehicles can also be deployed at the ship's flight deck.\n\nThe ship, with a full-fledged hospital and two operation rooms, can host around 1,200 staff.\n\nIt has a capacity to carry 13 tanks, 27 marine assault vehicles, six armored personnel carriers, 15 trailers, and 33 various vehicles.
