HMS Albion returns to Plymouth's shores today after almost 10 months at sea.\n\nThe amphibious vessel - which local leaders fought to save this summer - has had a busy 2018.\n\nSince leaving Devonport in February, HMS Albion has steamed 33,004 nautical miles that has taken her through the Mediterranean to the Far East.\n\nDuring that time the ship has sailed across many seas including the Indian Ocean, South China Sea, North Pacific Ocean, Atlantic, the Arabian Sea, and the Mediterranean Sea, visiting Vietnam, Singapore, Japan, South Korea and Borneo along the way.
