Istanbul, Türkiye – April 21, 2023: The amphibious assault ship TCG Anadolu (L-400), which can be configured as the V/STOL aircraft carrier of the Turkish Navy, was opened to the public at Sarayburnu Port.

They are docked at Garden Island, Sydney Harbour, in preparation for an open day to the public during Navy Week, the first open day since the Covid pandemic. One crew member is raising two maritime flags, while the other watches or assists, on the bridge of USS Canberra (LCS 30), an Independence Class combat ship of the US Navy which is docked at Garden Island in Sydney Harbour.  She was in port for her commissioning ceremony on 22 July 2023.  As part of the ceremony, her captain was presented with a kangaroo insignia attached to all ships of the Royal Australian Navy, but decorated in the colours and design of the Stars and Stripes.  That insignia has been attached to the ship and visible on the right.  The name of the ship and serial number is visible on the orange life ring.  A large, padded chair is visible on the bridge. World Trade Centre memorial ground zero waterfall feature.\nThe National September 11 Memorial & Museum (also known as the 9/11 Memorial & Museum) is part of the World Trade Center complex, in New York City, created for remembering the September 11 attacks of 2001. The memorial is located at the World Trade Center site, the former location of the Twin Towers that were destroyed during the September 11 attacks. The designer of the Memorial is Israeli-American architect Michael Arad of Handel Architects. Arad worked with landscape-architecture firm Peter Walker and Partners on the design to create two square reflecting pools in the center marking where the Twin Towers stood. A dedication ceremony commemorating the tenth anniversary of the attacks was held at the memorial on September 11, 2011, and it opened to the public the following day. The museum was dedicated on May 15, 2014 Six days later, the museum opened to the public.
