Car tires arranged in concentric circles in front of a construction site. A building boom started in the early 1980s in Boston, and there were a dozen building sites at any given time. Here the workers have filled the tires with concrete and sections of PVC tubing, so as to make bases for the fencing they would put up around the construction site, unwittingly creating a work of installation art rivalling the best to be found on the art scene at the time.

The Atomic Bomb Dome, located in Naka Ward, Hiroshima City, is an Atomic bombed structure that still conveys the horror of the atomic bomb dropped on the city of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945.\nIt is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (Negative World Heritage).

Hiroshima was bombed by a nuclear bomb on 6th of August, 1945. by the blast around 30 thousand people died immediately, and thousands later. The city center was absolutely destroyed down to earth, only some buildings remained in ruins. The most famous of them is the A-Bomb Dome (formerly Hiroshima Prefetual Industrial Promotion Hall) became the symbol of the nuclear attack and listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site.

The A-Bomb Dome is the skeletal ruins of the former Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall. It is the building closest to the hypocenter of the nuclear bomb that remained at least partially standing. It was left how it was after the bombing in memory of the casualties. The A-Bomb Dome was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List on December 7, 1996.
