Nepenthes Maxima is a carnivorous plants also known as Pitcher plant, spread over the island of Sulawesi, the Maluku Islands, and the island of Papua.

The plant is endemic to the mountains of Sabah in the Malaysian Borneo. Insects, and particularly ants, comprise its prey.
