Northern watersnake (Nerodia sipedon) in Sprain Brook, Washington, Connecticut. At the height of spring, with pollen and sugar maple flowers floating on the green water, and leaves from the previous fall under the surface. This common snake of eastern and central North America, about three feet long, is hunting for food along the bank. It is not venomous but will bite vigorously if handled.
When I had a trip to Saguenay, Quebec; unexpectedly happened to see the snake crawling on the waterfront wooden fence on the lake side. I shot it immediately on my Nikon D3200.

The western diamondback rattlesnake (Crotalus atrox) has a very wide range from California eastward all the way to Arkansas and south into central Mexico.  Color varies according habitat.  Length can rarely reach 213 cm and weight up to 6.7 kg.  This specimen is south of Tucson, AZ
