Flowers white, 10-15mm, in broad billowy panicles. fruit 8-14mm, 2-parted, the upper segment globose.\nHabitat: Costal places, shingle and sandy beaches, sea cliffs.\nFlowering Season: June-August.\nDistribution: Atlantic and Baltic Coast of Europe, including Britain and Ireland.\n\nOften growing where there is a rich accumulation of seaweed humus.
