The remains of the Roman Temple of Portico D'Ottavia (Porticus Octaviae) in the historic heart of the Eternal City, near the archeological area of the Theatre of Marcellus and the Jewish Ghetto. According to tradition and some archaeological remains of Ancient Rome this area was occupied by a fish market. The iconic Jewish Quarter of Rome, the oldest ghetto in Europe, is famous for the presence of hidden alleys and small squares, where it is easy to find small restaurants of Italian and Jewish cuisine, and remarkable Roman archaeological remains. The ghetto of Rome is located in one of the oldest districts of the Eternal City, located between the Campidoglio (Roman Capitol) and the Tiber river. In 1980 the historic center of Rome was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Super wide angle image in high definition format.
