Heroes Square without people in Budapest, Hungary

$The architecture of Montpellier's Triumphal Arch (Arc de Triomphe)\nThis monument was recognised to pay tribute to Louis XIV at the beginning of the eighteenth century. The Triumphal Arch was built in 1692 to replace one of the gates of the old rampart.$

The statue of Archangel Gabriel in Heroes' Square, Budapest, Hungary. Architect Albert Schieckedanz created the square for 1896 Hungarian millennium celebrations. At the base of Gabriel's column is Arpad and the chieftains of the seven Magyar tribes who followed him. Behind the pillar the Millennium Memorial contains staues of the kings and heroes from Hungarian history.

The Jubilee Column is a 30 meter high column, commemorating the 25th anniversary (1841) and the 60th birthday of king Wilhelm I. von Württemberg in 1846. Building started in 1842 after design by architect was Johann Michael von Knapp and in 1846 it was finished. The statues and reliefs were made by the sculptor Theodor Wagner. The statues represent the four estates; three of the four reliefs represent the king's military successes against Napoleon Bonaparte, only one is devoted to a political event. In 1863 a 5 m high statue of Concordia by Ludwig von Hofer was placed on the top. The Dominant Building is Ministry of Economics, Labor and Tourism Baden-Württemberg as part of the New Palace In Stuttgart.

$August 28, 2024: The statue of Charles III in Puerta del Sol in Madrid is one of three dedicated to the monarch in the city. However, this is the only one in which he appears on horseback. Of all the statues, it is the most modern and undoubtedly the most well-known due to its location.\n\nThe equestrian statue, made of bronze, is situated on the west side of the square, within a large fountain, next to the Casa de Correos. It faces the center of the open space and the buildings of Hotel Europa and the famous Tío Pepe sign. Although it may seem like an antique, it has been in this square since its creation in 1993.\n\nThe City Council wanted to honor the king known as the best mayor of Madrid due to the improvements the city experienced during his reign. The location was chosen by the people of Madrid, who rejected the area around Puerta de Alcalá and other possibilities. It is believed that a microfilm containing messages from the people of Madrid is stored inside the statue.$
